Kadavercursus 2020
Op 18/2/2020 werd in het IORT in Leuven de kadavercursus primaire en revisie schouderprothesen met peestransfer georganiseerd door het UZ Leuven in samenwerking met Terbruggen.
Ook leden van het schouderteam, Peter van Ecken en Lucienne Mercus waren hierbij aanwezig.
COURSE INTRODUCTION
This cadaver course is organized by the orthopedic departments of UZ Leuven and UZ Gent, in
collaboration with TerBrugGen Shoulder Group and the IORT in Leuven. It is intended for
orthopedic surgeons and trainees with special interest in shoulder arthroplasty.
With theoretical and practical sessions we aim to improve the participants surgical knowledge
about and skills in anatomical and reverse shoulder arthroplasty.
Short lectures by the faculty members will highlight the most important surgical steps during
these procedures, after which all participants will have plenty of time to put it all in practice in
the cadaver lab.
